Sergio Garcia carded 75 strokes in the third round of the PGA Championship. With a cumulative of +2 he is now in 64th place, far off the position he would have liked to hold with 18 holes to play.
Sergio Garcia kept trying hard till the end in Whistling Straits, a course that did not feel the most comfortable to him. At least, on Sunday at the PGA Championship he got the best result of the week: 70 strokes. Garcia returns home with a more pleasant taste than after his first two appearances on the course of Wisconsin, where he missed the cut (PGA 2004 and PGA 2010).
Sergio Garcia will play the final two days at the PGA Championship, making it an exceptional 4 out of 4 in Majors, which not too many players achieve. Garcia has played the weekend in the four majors of 2015: Masters, US Open, Open Championship and now the PGA Championship.
